Book lists are among my favorite blog posts to read from other writers. Likewise, I enjoy sharing my book list with all of you each year. My 2019 book list, like every year prior, is a list of aspirations. These are the books that I hope to read, but each year, I add the disclaimer that I may take a detour from the list to whichever books call my name in that particular season!
I love reading new releases and books that friends or readers recommend. I always begin with my list for the year, get happily sidetracked by another lovely book or two, and then return to my list for new inspiration when I come to a pause in my reading list. This flexibility has served my reading life rather well, I tell you.
