These weeks leading up to Christmas are all about preparing our hearts. Preparing our hearts for more of Him–this is Advent.
Advent means “coming.” It is about looking back at His first coming, His birth in Bethlehem and looking forward to His second coming with great anticipation! The Messiah has come. He is Emmanuel, God with us. God with us. He is coming again. May our hearts be prepared.
May our hearts prepare Him room in every season, but especially in this season. This is the season to prepare with expectant hearts! These songs capture the very heartbeat of our hope and anticipation. Our hope is in Jesus. May this little playlist focus your heart with that very expectant hope!

You’re questioning my logic on this one. I know. Hear my thoughts on this. This song isn’t specifically about the birth of Jesus, of course. The lyrics are about the season that we are in: the waiting and the anticipation. This song reminds us to keep our wonder and to delight in the little joys of Christmas while we wait. Advent is about a great anticipation and this season? In my heart, it is all a grand birthday party for Jesus. God looks at our hearts. May they be joyfully preparing Him room!
Let every heart prepare Him room.
