We often shy away from what we don’t understand for fear of hurting someone’s feelings or offending or saying the wrong words. Perhaps our intentions are good. Yet, we might unknowingly isolate those who are different.
Honest conversations can open doors to new understanding. When we know more about someone, we may be able to love them a bit better. Listen, friends. We all have so much to learn from one another and we all need friends to gather around us in our unique journeys.
My friend, Beth is the loving mother of three children, the youngest a child with special needs. She has long wanted to share her journey in hopes of encouraging other families of children with special needs. You will be blessed.
You can watch my interview with Beth here, friend.
I’m so thankful for what Beth is teaching me in our friendship. She is an encourager and a voice of reason when I need a listening ear. May your life be blessed with a Beth. May grow and learn in this journey toward Heaven.
From my heart to yours,
~Courtney
